A reference is invited to this office circulars No. UG/320 of 2009, dated 18th
August, 2009, No.UG/95 of 2010 dated 19th May, 2010 & No.UG/99 of 2010 dated 25th May, 2010 relating to the Bachelor of Engineering degree course and the Principals of the affiliated college in Engineering are hereby informed that the recommendation made by the Faculty of Technology at its meeting held on 2nd February, 2012 has been accepted by the Academic Council at its meeting held on 19th March, 2012 vide item No.4.92 and that in accordance therewith four more attempts are granted to the students of all the branches of B.E. Semester VII and Semester VIII for appearing in the examination under their old syllabus (R-2001) for the students who were admitted in the B.E. course from the academic year 2001-2002 onwards and in the old syllabus (R-2001) only and that the same has been brought into force with immediate effect.
