Foundation Course Paper I (Compulsory)
A student shall offer any one group of three subjects mentioned below.
i) Physics, Mathematics & Statistics (PMS)
ii) Physics, Mathematics & Chemistry (PMC)
iii) Physics, Chemistry & Zoology (PCZ)
iv) Chemistry, Botany & Zoology (CBZ)
v) Microbiology, Chemistry & Botany (MCB)
** The subjects for applied component paper II and paper III are allotted, based on merit of performance by the student at the S.Y.B.Sc. and F.Y.B.Sc. examination.
vi) Physics, Mathematics & Computer Science (PMComp.)
vii) Physics, Statistics & Computer Science (PSComp.)
viii) Chemistry, Botany & Biotechnology (CBBt)
ix) Chemistry, Zoology & Biotechnology (CZBt)
In each of the Science subjects there shall be two papers. Each paper, in which practicals are prescribed, comprises 60 marks theory & 40 marks practicals. In Mathematics, theory papers are of 90 marks while 10 marks are allotted for tutorial.
